Office 365 Migration
To modernize email infrastructure and improve scalability, the on-premises Exchange server was successfully migrated to Microsoft 365 (Office 365). The process involved meticulous planning, preparation, and execution to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption to users.
Preparation:
- Evaluated the current Exchange environment, including mailboxes, distribution groups, and shared mailboxes.

- Communicated with stakeholders to inform them of the migration plan and minimize downtime.
Migration Process:
- Set up a hybrid Exchange environment to enable mailbox migration and coexistence.
- Migrated mailboxes in batches, monitoring for any errors and ensuring smooth cutover to Office 365.
- Updated DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC) to direct mail flow to Microsoft 365.
CodeTwo Signatures Migration:
- Deployed CodeTwo Email Signatures for Office 365 to replace the existing on-prem CodeTwo solution.
- Configured tenant-wide settings in CodeTwo to centrally manage email signatures.
- Migrated signature templates, ensuring branding consistency across all users.
- Tested signature application on emails sent from various devices and platforms, including Outlook and mobile.
Post-Migration Tasks:
- Verified email flow, user access, and mailbox data integrity in Office 365.
- Provided user training on new features and functionality in Office 365.
- Decommissioned the on-premises Exchange server after confirming all data and services were fully operational in Office 365.
